The Senior HSE Engineer (Environmental Engineer) is a key leadership role within the Industrial Automation (IA) Integrated Supply Chain organization. You will report directly to the Site Sr HSE Manager. You will be the key HSE resource at the facility to support site engineering and operations teams directing sustainable environmental programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards.

Position is in 1150 Jackson Heights, PO Box 39, Clover, SC 29710 USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements company HSE standards with a focus on Environmental Management Systems

  • Provides technical assistance for field manufacturing operations

  • Job Site compliance reviews for permit compliance and standard verifications

  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal and Corporate Health Safety, Environmental and Security guidelines, including air, hazardous and solid waste, wastewater, and stormwater, SPCC, EPCRA, CERCLA, and management systems.

  • Prepares and submits required Regulatory Agency reports i.e. Toxic Release Inventory, Annual Emissions Report, etc.

  • Prepare routine multi-media reports for submission to agencies, trade associations, and company, such as: Discharge Monitoring Reports; Toxic Release Inventories; Tier II reports, Solid waste reports, Title V Compliance Certification & Deviation reports, NESHAP reports, Greenhouse Gas reports, Hazardous Waste reports and Energy and sustainability metric reports.

  • Waste characterization, hazardous waste satellite and main accumulations inspections, waste profile management, developing and tracking shipping papers

  • Manage and champion locally various workflows, Environmental data, Environmental reporting.

  • Effective coach and role model for production leaders; leads environmental training

  • Deploys environmental initiatives

  • Best Practice sharing among location groups and other similar manufacturing locations

  • Drives standard work for environmental processes

  • Risk Management processes for environmental exposures

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+years’ experience in environmental compliance, inspections, and reporting

WE VALUE

  • Chemical Background preferred.

  • Degree in a HSE related field.

  • Use innovative thinking to create continuous improvement.

  • Clear and concise virtual communication skills

  • Title V Clean Air Act experience.
