The Sherwin-Williams Company Sr. Financial Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

This position will be dedicated to supporting, tracking, and assisting in delivering the Performance Coatings Group path to 20% ROS Initiatives. This position will be a member of the ROS Council across all Business Units, Regions, and Swim Lanes. These lanes include (Facility Optimization, RM and Conversion COGS reductions, Strategic Pricing Initiatives, among others). These projects will become part of our key operating plan initiatives for the next several years across the entire Performance Coatings Group. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Responsibilities include: Timely reporting and tracking of projects within the Tracking Tool. M&A Synergy Tracking Assist in validation with Fin Director/Fin VP on key projects by working with cross functional teams (GSC, Procurement, Enterprise Finance). Drive ROS Improvement projects related to Associated Products (GMROI Improvement & Obsolescence Reduction). Ensure actuals are being populated timely by each BU in OnBase Assist in removing project roadblocks. Validating savings flowing through COGS primarily around Standard Costs (RM & Conversion) and Fixed Revenue. Support the Facility Finance Director as it relates to all ROS Initiatives around GI/IW Facilities and Automotive Branches. Key member of the monthly meeting cadence in discussing progress, challenges, and upcoming deliverables. POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor Degree in accounting or Finance Preferred: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 3+ years of accounting/finance experience. Preferred: TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Experience with Microsoft Excel and reporting Experience with OnBase or Business Objects Capable of performing financial statement analysis involving sales, cost of goods sold, and SG&A.
