As a member of the Applied Fluid Power Network, you will assist the project management and production departments at SG Morris. We are the world's largest fluid power distributor, supplying hydraulic and pneumatic components and value added services. Coordinate projects from start to finish that are built or completed by the fabrication/service team. Report to the team on the status of the project(s) weekly including any part delays that may cause an interruption in the production schedule. Work closely with the sales team to ensure the project(s) meet the customers' requirements and keep the customer updated on delivery schedules. This will include reviewing submitted projects for accurate and complete requirements using a third party project management software Enter customer orders in the ERP system that have extensive bills of materials, request quotes from vendors Expedite orders and also creating service manuals for projects that are built Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Excelled Experience in Excel, Outlook and Adobe Basic computer skills and MS Office package Desired characteristics: Ability to learn and apply new information quickly Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Solid organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Good problem-solving and reasoning skills As the world's largest fluid power distributor, the Applied Fluid Power network of companies provide dedicated fluid power support and custom designed solutions that meet customer performance goals and keep industry running.Capabilities include system integration, manifold design, machining and assembly, electronic controls, fabrication, fluid filtration, programming, high speed hose assembly, engineering, repair services, and more.
