WestRock Company Shipping/Receiving in Cleveland, Ohio

General Purpose: Our team of Shipping and Receiving Clerks are responsible for shipping out customer orders and coordination with carriers.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares daily shipments according to client specifications

  • Verifies shipments received match packing slips

  • Loads and unloads trailers

  • Completes training and maintains license for Forklift

  • Maintains inventory accuracy and resolves inventory discrepancies

  • Ensures deliveries get to appropriate department/recipient

  • Performs other job duties as assigned

    Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience

  • Minimum 1 year parcel shipping system experience (UPS/FedEx)

  • Minimum 1 year inventory management software experience

  • Minimum 1 year scanning/barcoding experience

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Intermediate math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Intermediate computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)

  • Ability to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periods

  • Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
