The Sherwin-Williams Company Senior Financial Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio
The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager within the Protective and Marine Division with focused support of the North America businesses. The specific areas of focus that this role will support in North America will be our vertical businesses (High-Performance Flooring and Marine), Business Development Reps (BDR's), Integrated Business Process (IBP), Functional Coatings, PMBU, and Project Development and Construction Solutions team. Responsibilities of the Sr. Financial Analyst include the following: Analysis of the North America monthly financial results and forecasts for the Protective and Marine North American businesses. Oversight of various responsibilities around the month-end close process. Completion of proformas for supply agreements, rebate agreements and high volume/low margin opportunities. Assist with the annual operating plan process and completion of field level budgets. Several ad hoc analyses around things such as low margin performance, customer and product performance, segment performance, etc. Review and analysis SG&A spend against budget, forecast and prior year Serve as the key finance support with all IBP related tasks around Demand Planning and Forecasting. Assist with reporting and financial related matters around all M&A integration activity within North America. Identify gaps in businesses not supported by core systems and develop consistent reporting for the field to help understand results, trends, risks, and opportunities. Oversee the annual budgeting process and monthly performance to budget for the key businesses being supported. Responsible for all financial support related to business verticals (Flooring, Marine, PMBU, Functional Coatings) Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
