The Sherwin-Williams Company Regional Sales Representative in Cleveland, Ohio

This position is responsible for increased sales and profit of Krylon Industrial Aerosols and Paints, Sprayon products and other National Branded products to existing distributor customers in the Industrial M.R.O, Construction, Safety and Specialty distribution markets as well as providing new opportunities within a defined territory. Although subject to change based upon business needs this territory currently includes Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Responsibilities for Internal Candidates Cultivate leads, qualify prospects, schedule, and perform sales calls with customers. Effectively implement the Sales Cycle, including Pre-Call Planning. Enter all sales call information into internal sales call reporting application (Salesforce). The Sales Representative position will also have responsibility for developing End User awareness to drive sales and calling on all account locations throughout a defined region. The Sales Representative will work with the Strategic Account Team to implement Buying Group programs to promote End User awareness to grow Tier 2 and 3 Strategic Accounts. This person will also work the Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Team, Technical, and Product Planning to effectively develop and implement an Annual Growth Plan that will demonstrate a clear path for current and long term of growth of our Industrial product lines. Qualifications for Internal Candidates FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High school diploma or GED Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must have at least 3 years prior experience in Outside Sales and /or Account Management is required. Must be willing to travel as required for this position. Preferred: Ability to interpret financial reports. Comfortable presenting to large & small groups at all levels Experience with and knowledge of Sherwin-Williams customers within the Industrial Distribution Industry is preferred.
