Location: 4900 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144-2302 ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF) The Procurement Process Optimization Strategist is an individual contributor role reporting to the Procurement Process Optimization Leader in Key's Corporate Procurement group (supporting Deep Dives). Deep Dive projects leverage agile practices, design thinking/end user focus, lean process principles, multi-system analysis, and automation tools to perform end-to-end reviews of spend categories, buying processes, or major procurement efforts. Deep Dive project teams are cross-functional, consisting of Procurement team members, line of business partners, corporate functions, and other subject matter experts inside and outside of KeyBank. This position acts as a strategic and collaborative partner focused on program management of the Procurement Deep Dive team by utilizing a design thinking approach that ultimately drives efficiency in process as well as end-user experience. Role responsibilities include: defining and "owning" overall Deep Dive program strategy in conjunction with the Team Lead, developing & managing multiple project workplans at once (outlining objectives, scope, timeline and role expectations), leading strategic workshops including overall deep dive project kickoffs, stakeholder interview planning and persona development sessions, and establishing and growing critical relationships with business partners both internal and external to Corporate Procurement and Key. This role is also responsible for executive coordination and presentation co-development, creation of project delivery roadmaps and alignment of resources, along with completion of defined internal processes and program management routines. Success criteria include: ability to manage multiple projects and create efficiencies in a fast-paced environment utilizing agile practices & tools, proven track record of solid relationship-building and effective collaboration, strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise priorities, established reputation as an accessible, collaborative and effective team member. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop, implement and "own" program strategy in conjunction with Deep Dive Team Lead Provide innovative and strategic program management strategies that support the overall goals of the Deep Dive team Act as point of contact for senior management of LOB/active project area Conduct and/or oversee business-as-usual (BAU) work related to program management of Deep Dive team Stay up to date on design thinking/agile best-practices, changes, or trends in the industry; make recommendation for adoption by Key Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across Deep Dive practices Deep Dive program strategy and goals are clear and concise for those actively participating on initiatives as well as the overall Procurement department Strategist is viewed by LOB and Procurement Category Teams as knowledgeable member of the team Program Management practices and strategies are evolving as needed Manage multiple continuous improvement workplans at once including outlining objectives, scope, timeline, and role expectations throughout different phases of the Deep Dive process Utilize an agile approach to build and maintain multiple strategic workplans at once that typically fall within different project phases Create detailed project roadmaps and identify necessary resources at the onset of a project, maintain and adjust as needed Ensure program activities align with overall project timelines and key milestones, and are integrated with other LOB work streams as required Coordinate LOB partner engagement and co-development of executive presentations Adhere to internal policies and processes; identify and escalate material issues in a timely manner Workplans are organized and prioritized based on needs of the business while keepi
