OMJCC OMJCC-Maintenance Technician in Cleveland, Ohio
Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland/Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Maintenance Technician that will be in the Brecksville area. Monday-Friday 8am-430pm Candidates will have to pass a background check and drug screen. Full benefits package available as well. Core Responsibilities: · Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns. · Coordinate with vendors on supplies, repairs and service. · Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and execute repairs in a timely manner. · Repair or replace defective parts, components, and equipment as necessary. · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts. · Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. · Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. · Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment. · Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies. · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability. · Member of the Health, Safety and Environmental committee. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Minimum 5 years related experience · Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, proficiency in using hand and power tools. · Experience with high voltage (480 volts), preferred. · Demonstrated experience working in roles that require mechanical skills, including mechanical/air power tools and powered industrial vehicles (i.e. lift trucks). · Working knowledge of computers and electronics, CNC Machines. · Familiarity with industrial machinery. · Mechanically inclined with attention to detail. · Able to effectively communicate and follow instructions in verbal and written form. · Self-motivated and team oriented, with strong interpersonal skills. · Able to work well with minimal direct management oversight. · Able to adapt and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and changing environment. · Basic understanding and demonstrated experience complying with required safety and health expectations. · Working knowledge of basic math and the ability to use measuring tools. · Read and understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints, electrical schematics · Good computer skills. · Familiarity with multi-spindle/multi-turret machines is a plus.
