Job Description

Insight Global is a Mainframe Technician to work for one of our clients. This person is going to be working on a team of 6 supporting the companys mainframe. They are going to be monitoring the health and supporting issues as needed. If there is an incident, they will loop in a SME to help assist. This person is going to be monitoring the mainframe operations and LPARS. They will also be monitoring data center equipment (AC Units, Battery Systems, Generator Operations). This person does not need to be an expert in mainframe but has worked with it and understands how to monitor it.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting mainframe

 Experience with mainframe operations and consoles

 Second Shift 3-11:30PM (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday)

 Experience with Maintenance and Health Monitoring Worked in a Manufacturing Background

 Experience with LPARS null
