Millennia Housing Management Learning & Development Partner (Property Management) in Cleveland, Ohio

Position Overview

The Learning & Talent Development Partner (Property Management) will be responsible for supporting the Learning & Talent Development's training curriculum of the Millennia Housing Management's Property Manager on-boarding and assisting with the organization's operational and system training curriculum. The Learning & Talent Development Partner will be responsible for executing training initiatives and reporting training needs and results.

The Learning and Talent Development Partner will formulate partnerships across the regions and the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the organization's business objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of Millennia's Training curriculum and on-site on-boarding plan for new Property Managers, District Managers, and Regional Managers.

  • Design and conduct the on-site on-boarding program, including property operations, compliance, HR administration, and Information Technology training.

  • Participate in week 1 Property Manager Onboarding in Key Tower; facilitating sections as applicable.

  • Schedule and conduct software training (as appropriate) for RealPage, Microsoft Office, and other systems/applications used by the organization.

  • Evaluate the design and demonstrate the ability to develop learning activities, including classroom training, E-Learning modules, and other multimedia solutions to support field learning.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Operation representatives to ensure that all new hires receive training materials and have the appropriate training plan (New Hire Orientation and Development Plans) in place upon their arrival and will schedule and deliver training in support of rollouts/deployment.

  • Customize, track, and report new hire activity and training compliance through checklists and the LMS platform.

  • Coordinate and assist with adjunct field Training Partners to ensure all new hires and ongoing training needs are covered.

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all core applications, develop an overview understanding of additional applications as used in the multifamily housing industry, develop expertise in training approaches and deliver train-the-trainer sessions for trainers and other support teams.

  • Design and prepare educational aids, materials, and quick reference guides.

  • Effectively interface with IT team to ensure appropriate technology is utilized for delivery and ongoing training needs.

  • Contribute to organizational rollouts of IT solutions. Providing support during and after go-live.

  • Design, evaluate and develop eLearning solutions by applying adult learning principles and eLearning technology tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Flash, Photoshop, etc.

  • Audit training content/materials to ensure materials are up to date with site and compliance requirements, keep training content relevant, and help drive employee engagement.

  • Manage course material, and create reporting & metrics through the company e-learning platform to track and assign all training.

  • Increase the speed of new hire performance and ramp by building & facilitating comprehensive on-boarding programs for new hires.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.

  • 2+ years of training experience with experience, preferably within a multifamily housing environment industry.

  • At least 2 + years of working knowledge within RealPage is preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing Law is required.

  • Background in instructional design/ curriculum development and knowledge of adult learning methods must possess excellent presentation skills, strong technical documentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Requires a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel (between properties for training, etc.)

  • Proven skills to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach cooperative exchange and positive outcomes with advanced skill in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely.

  • Able to work independently or as a team member to assist HR, employees, and managers with special projects requiring the use of the HRIS systems.

  • Strong collaboration skills – works well across functional areas—excellent relationship-building skills; able to collaborate with various levels of the organization.

Expected Hours of Work & Travel

  • Days and work hours are generally Monday through Friday but may require evening and/or weekend shifts.

  • Frequent regional travel will be required, as necessary.
