KeyBank NA KCB Product Manager - Account Management in Cleveland, Ohio

Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 The position can be remote (preference will be in Ohio) but will have to be in a state within KeyBank's footprint. The Product Manager II is responsible for the ongoing lifecycle strategies that foster revenue generation, mitigation of credit loss, and an improved client experience across multiple consumer lending portfolios (credit cards, lines of credit, term loans, auto). The Product Manager II is involved in defining the overall business strategy, including account activation, usage, balance generation, fee income creation, and various tactics to reduce the inherent credit profile of consumer assets - all with improving portfolio(s) profitability. The Product Manager II also may consult with senior business leaders and direct allocated resources to plan, develop, execute, and measure tactical projects to increase overall product portfolio performance. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and processes of design thinking; ability to utilize the knowledge in enhancing products and services, improving customer experiences, and finding operational efficiencies. Analytical thought process and the ability to determine paths of action, make recommendations, and remediate issues. Thorough and inquisitive, with an ability to independently manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, and activities. Excellent influencing, consulting, and communication (both oral and written) skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to multiple audiences in plain business terms. Responsibilities Lead business initiatives, directing a project plan, and is responsible for economic outcomes Responsible for revenue generation (finance charge, Non-interest income) campaigns and activities Responsible for crafting various treatments to minimize the inherent credit risk to consumer portfolios Recommends new product and/or portfolio value propositions, along with influencing and crafting product positioning, channel content and messaging Responsible for monitoring and reporting out daily, weekly, and monthly Account Management performance trends and results Responsible for understanding market conditions, the regulatory landscape and making recommendations for change as appropriate to internal and external conditions Responsible for the compliance and legality of all product portfolio offerings and effectiveness of distribution and delivery Responsible for scanning the competitive landscape, keeping a pulse on the competition with noted gaps, strengths, weaknesses and forecasting industry trends Builds relationships with vendors and be involved in negotiating and influencing vendor contracts Collaborates with Marketing Consultants to manage marketing campaigns, capabilities, and measures and reports out on results Consult with business leaders and management to obtain buy-in and input on recommended innovations and product portfolio enhancements Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience (required) Experience Qualifications 5+ years experience in financial services or related industry (preferred) 5+ years experience in product management (preferred) Tactical Skills Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept to rollout in cooperation with various business units and third party partners Team player with a structured approach to achieve tight timelines
