The primary objective of the IT Analyst position in Service and Support Operations is to support operational service delivery teams in the execution of proper IT asset lifecycle management. This role partners with Service Operations leadership, ITAM product team, Global Compliance, and service execution partners (Service Desk, Mobile Device Management, Deployment Operations, Desktop Support, Endpoint Engineering, and Procurement) to support IT Asset Management (ITAM) in compliance with organizational policies with a focus on improving business outcomes. The scope for this role focuses on endpoint computing assets including PCs, mobile devices, and associated peripherals/services as defined by business need. This position is part of the Service & Support Operations organization within Corporate Digital Technology at Sherwin-Williams, and reports to the IT Manager of End User Support & Deployment Operations. Strategy & Planning Design ITAM system administration in compliance with organizational policies and accepted discipline best practices for optimal service outcomes Develop and maintain operational asset reporting and alerting mechanisms to support identified outcomes Partner with ITAM product team, organizational compliance teams, and service partners to identify potential process and administration issues Define strategy and roadmap for device class transitions Maintain authoritative list of entitlements for specific hardware Actively participate in continuous improvement planning, design, and implementation Operational Management Support execution of proper receipt, deployment, return, and disposal of in-scope assets in accordance with organizational polices and processes. Audit and resolve asset compliance operational issues for in scope devices including policy non-compliance, physical inventory compliance, lost/stolen devices, and service operational tower errors. Build, maintain, and execute reporting to support operational ITAM strategies and service delivery strategies. Execute ITAM system communication and execution processes to facilitate continued compliance. Examples include receiving and disposal administration, asset lifecycle administration, asset disposal administration, and identification/routing of assets in a state of non-compliance. Provide technical administration support, training, and guidance to service delivery towers as needed Ensure and validate the proper disposition of devices is achieved through partner groups and organizations performing asset deployment and/or reclamation activities Investigate, correct, or escalate ITAM system or process issues. Work closely with the process SMEs to assist in the appropriate extension, integration or development of the platform. Incidental Functions Assist with ITAM Change Management operational preparations, communications and system/process implementations. Attend meetings in participation with the team, clients, peers and/or management. Prepare and lead presentations as requested. Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the group. This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.
