Plan and prepare menus for children that are varied, and nutritionally balanced, specializing in Ukrainian dishes; prepare and cook foodstuffs for approximately 400 children, according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and numbers of portions to be served; monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety; apportion and serve food to children; clean and inspect kitchen appliances and utensils, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation; compile and maintain records of food use and expenditures; take inventory and order supplies according to estimates of future needs.
