Position Responsibilities:
This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.
Collaborate with other database administrators, technical experts, and business analysts to manage the day to day operations of numerous Database Management Systems.
Provide Database Management and Support in the following areas:
Database backup and recovery
Database availability and resiliency
Database performance monitoring and tuning
Database change control
Database Security management
Structured Query Language guidance and support
Document Database Management processes and procedures
Develop solutions for a variety of technical and business challenges.
Support and assist the business systems application programming staff as necessary.
Qualifications

4-year University / College Degree or significant technical certifications
Five or more years’ experience in Information Technology
Expertise in the following base technologies:
Required experience:
DB2 for Linux Unix Windows
Unix Operating system
DB2 HADR
Preferred experience:
DB2 for Linux Unix Windows
Unix Operating system
DB2 HADR
DB2 for z/OS
IMS
z/OS Operating system
Mainframe tools and utilities
Windows Server
Microsoft SQL Server
Database backup and recovery technologies
Structured Query Language
Windows PowerShell or equivalent command-line shell and scripting language
