Aon is looking for a Cyber Business Development Specialist (Central U.S.) Summary The Cyber Business Development Specialist is charged with the identification, qualification and increasing of net new business and expansion of existing accounts by working with our territory originators and alliance partners. This is focused on Aon's cyber services spanning across Proactive, Reactive and Alliance technology sales. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in cyber related sales and consistent track record of driving sales and as a relationship builder. The candidate will also maintain regular connections with existing clients and handle renewal requirements on partner license sales. This individual will report into the North American Cyber Sales Leader. (Preferred locations) Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City Job Responsibilities: You will lead the process and close sales in assigned territory focusing on Aon cyber services and alliance partner teams, ensuring that the client relationship develops and evolves as business needs change. Become a subject matter expert on assigned clients, their organization, reporting structure, and initiatives to help drive results. Implement sales plays and effective strategies needed to lead successful conversations with senior executives and key stakeholders. Work with Aon senior originators to qualify and win business. Create and lead detailed project schedules that include deliverables, processes, and contingencies for each team to complete, including but not limited to solution/service renewals. Gather client reporting needs and work with internal teams to compile meaningful metrics and data. Identify and recommend opportunities for service expansion based on understanding of Aon and partner service offerings. Responsible for achieving job KPI's. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree. 5+ years of cyber related sales experience. Confirmed sales generation experience. Experience in selling and renewing technology license revenue. Proven relationship building skills with clients and partners. Ability to work in a fast paced and thrive in a multi-tasking environment. Must be very highly pro-active, self-motivated, enthusiastic and standout colleague. Tried sales closing skills. Outstanding problem-solving skills and be creative in solutioning. Amazing conflict management and leadership skills. Excellent organizational, planning and reporting skills. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
