Cleveland Clinic Coordinator Pulmonary Rehab in Cleveland, Ohio

A caregiver in this position will work days, Monday - Friday.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Work closely with our Pulmonary, Asthma and Allergy department to identify and improve asthma treatments.

  • Work on various organizational improvement strategies.

  • Evaluate and share quality data with customers for continuous process improvement.

  • Assist the Education Coordinator with the development of an ongoing program of orientation, training and continuing education for staff.

  • Perform the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program

  • RRT credentialing through the NBRC

  • Ohio RCP licensure

  • BLS through American Heart Association

  • Minimum of three years adult critical care experience and/or outpatient pulmonary function testing experience in which leadership and/or teaching experience has been demonstrated

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certified Ashtma Educator (AE-C) through the NBRC

  • CPFT and/or RPFT credentialing through the NBRC

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC.

  • Normal or corrected vision.

  • Extensive sitting and frequent walking.

  • Occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
