Our client is seeking a Chemist Associate to join their team. As a Quality Control Chemist Associate, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting analytical chemistry testing against a multitude of analytical specifications. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator, have a chemistry background, and possess critical thinking skills.

Job Title: Chemist Associate

Location: Cleveland, OH

What's the Job?

• Perform analytical chemistry testing against a multitude of analytical specifications

• Work closely with department supervisor and team leads to ensure that departmental tasks are completed on time

• Follow all safety requirements and refer to MSDS for PPE and other safety guidance

• Able to recognize out-of-spec (OOS) results and initiate OOS investigation

• Demonstrate Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Data Integrity Principles

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Life Science field with a minimum of 2 years laboratory experience (academic or industry) OR Associate degree in Chemistry or other Life Science field with a minimum of 3 years experience outside of academic laboratories

• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills

• Solution focused when faced with any problems or setbacks
