Job ID 12483 Location Case Main Campus Full/Part Time Full-Time Regular/Temporary Regular Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE Under the general direction of the Director of Admissions, Senior Recruiter, the Assistant Director of Admissions will plan, coordinate, and attend recruitment related events, recruit candidates, conduct admissions interviews, review applications, make independent decision for applicants that do not meet the admissions requirements and applicants to be waitlisted, and recommend applicants for admission. In addition, the recruitment manager will develop and implement recruitment, marketing, and communication plans across graduate management programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Plan and coordinate recruitment events (information sessions, open houses, on-campus recruitment events, applicant interviews, fairs, and yield events) to inform inquiries, applicants, prospective students of program offerings. Solicit student, faculty, and program director involvement. Represent the Weatherhead School of Management at local and national recruitment fairs and events during recruiting season. Develop and implement standards to deliver world class recruiting events. Generate new leads each month during pre-recruiting season. Seek opportunities to build pipeline with professional associations core schools, and organizations such as Summer on the Cuyahoga, INROADS, etc. Take a proactive step with inquiries to generate completed applications. Develop expert knowledge of all Weatherhead School of Management programs to provide admissions advice to prospective students. Coordinate all prospective and admitted student visit requests from information sessions, workshops, meetings, and various admission related events; including make logistical arrangements for parking, food, and notification by print or electronic media. (31%) Conduct admissions interviews for assigned programs. Provide an assessment of applicant's likelihood of success in the candidate's indicated area of academic interest. Evaluate student qualifications and make decisions on the admissibility of applicants. Make admission decisions for applicants that do not meet the standards and requirements to be accepted. Make admission decisions for applicants to waitlist. (20%) Partner with marketing staff to design and implement appropriate and effective marketing strategies to drive event attendance, attract and keep inquiries and prospects engaged, enhance, and increase the number of created applications, and increase and retain admitted and deposited students. Analyze and measure success of communication channels and methods to improve effectiveness of communications throughout the application and onboarding process. (15%) Discern and identify applicants that need to be reviewed by the Senior Recruiter and/or the Admissions Committee. (10%) Work with External Relations Office and school faculty, staff, and program managers to facilitate the connections to the appropriate resources for qualified applicants and admitted students. (10%) Work with the Director of Admissions, Senior Recruiter to create and monitor recruitment budget for assigned programs. Perform budget forecasting for financial analysis; and research and compile enrollment benchmarking data as needed. (10%) NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Compile, coordinate, and disseminate annual event calendar to internal and external partners. (2%) Perform other duties as assigned. (2%) CONTACTS Department: Continuous contact with all Weatherhead faculty and staff for the purpose of recruiting students. University: Regular contact with Case Western Reserve University admissions, IT, purchasing, security, and facilities personnel among others for recruiting efforts. External: Continuous contact with prospective students, alumni, friends of Weatherhead and outside vendors for recruiting efforts
