The Finance Manager, Maturing Liquid reports to the Finance Business Partner - JBBD Co, supporting all long-term financial planning and monthly operational activities of maturing inventory in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting principles, and corporate accounting policies and procedures. Area of responsibility includes Clermont, Booker Noe, and Frankfort, KY locations.

Role Responsibilities

Manage inventory planning and forecasting for over $300MM of annual spend on new liquid production / warehousing costs and over $1 Billion in total inventory
Lead supply chain finance support for JBBDCo MIR and coalitions
Works autonomously and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (operations, brand house, corporate strategy, etc.)
Maintain monthly operational forecast for barrel logistics, warehouse planning, and distillation and maturation cost
Manage maturing liquid cash flow and inventory projections
Support business case development and DCF analysis on capital / strategic projects
Driving financial acumen across operations, providing cost center information to department managers. Educating Managers and Supervisors of the various cost buckets and opportunities for savings to ensure financial targets are delivered
Provide budget support for distillation and maturation operations, and aligning annual barrel depletion standards with long term maturing liquid plan
Execute month end activities, responsibilities include period close, preparing journal entries, reporting and analyzing distillation and maturation financial results, timely account analysis and account reconciliations
This role supports the continuous improvement agenda that includes maintaining KPI'S, identifying reporting improvements and loss analysis
This role will work directly with other Supply Chain Finance team members to support local initiatives and ad hoc analysis as required


Qualifications

Education - Finance, Accounting, or equivalent degree
Certifications/Licensure - MBA or CPA preferred, not required
Years of experience - 5 years work experience in Finance / Accounting
Level of experience - high-level individual contributor or supervisor/manager
Strong analytical modeling capabilities, attention to detail, managing, and communicating complex information
Industry experience - Preferably within distillation and/or maturing inventory
Travel: 5 - 10%
