EMCOR Group Information Technology (IT) Support Technician in Clemmons, North Carolina
Description
The ideal IT support technician will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, software and hardware. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide first-level technical support services to Bahnson employees via phone, email, or in-person.
Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices and IT policies.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components using SCCM/Autopilot and set up workstations.
Support and maintain security access and permissions for all ERP systems.
Document and track Help Desk Requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with Senior IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Assist in managing CVEs and security patching on endpoints.
Ensure that Corporate SOPs are followed for all current and future IT policies.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Assist IT Manager with IT Disaster Recovery Plans.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Some Knowledge of computer, networking, and mobile devices, Microsoft products including Windows 10 & 11, Server 2016+. O365, Teams, and Active Directory preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn and support new technology
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
