Vice President of Reimbursement and Decision Support Summary:

• The Vice President of Reimbursement and Decision Support is responsible for all reimbursement and regulatory functions of BayCare Health System, working in collaboration with the CFO’s, Patient Financial Services, Managed Care, Government Relations, and subject matter experts within BayCare.

• The Vice President is responsible for all aspects of net revenue reporting, including controls and GAAP compliance for these areas.

• The Vice President is also responsible for revenue analytics driving continuous improvement across these functions, including ensure optimization of and accurate accounting for all aspects of the Health System’s revenue.

• The Vice President is expected to collaborate with consultants, Government Relations and others, in advocating with regulatory agencies in the delivery of reimbursement and regulatory strategies.

• The Vice President is also responsible to ensure accurate and optimized government cost reporting, as well as overseeing and directing the strategy and execution of patient service revenue chargemaster and managed care decision support systems and processes, as well as cost accounting and service lines systems, processes, and strategies.

Required Education:

• Master’s in Accounting or MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License

• Required Experience: 10 years - Accounting; 12 years Healthcare Revenue Management;

• 10 years – Management;

• Experience working directly with government agencies.
