Honeywell Program Controls Specialist IV in Clearwater, Florida

As a Program Controls Specialist IV here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing and overseeing the control and coordination functions within the Aero business unit. This role involves ensuring the successful execution of complex programs and projects, as well as providing strategic guidance to a team of program controls professionals. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and overall success of multiple programs and projects within the Aero business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage the program controls function for projects and programs within the Aero business unit

  • Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies

  • Monitor and control project costs and budgets

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

  • Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of project management ethics and methodologies

  • Experience with project planning and scheduling tools

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience in a global organization
