As a Director, Business Development and Strategy here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading the offering management function. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability for Honeywell's offerings. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's business.
You will report directly to our Space Sr. Director of DoD Space Strategy Offering Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL (preferred) or Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact influencing strategic direction, revenue growth, innovation, customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, resource allocation, risk management, and cost-efficiency. This role is focus on Strategic and Restricted product and solution offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the offering management function and drive the development and execution of offering strategies
Define and prioritize market opportunities and customer needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new offerings
Manage the offering lifecycle, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
Demonstrated understanding of US Gov Customers, missions, primes and key industrial partners
Experience in supporting inorganic growth strategies (Mergers and Acquisitions)
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Understanding of direction of US DoD Space and Missile market and direction.
Understanding of US DoD Services Roadmaps and Strategic Plans (to include: USAF, MDA, SDA, USN, AFRL, DARPA, SMC
Working knowledge of US Govt Acquisition and Procurement Sites: ARC, SAM.GOV, and FPDS
Understanding of USG Source Documents (IC, DoD, DoD Budget)
Ability to lead Strategic Planning Process and formulate key strategies to grow business
Experience in linking emerging customer/mission needs to Strategic investments in RDE, Resources and B&P.
Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence without authority
Working knowledge of CRM and Planning Tools (SFDC, Accolade, SAP, Manpower Allocation Tool)
Drive profitability and growth through effective pricing and revenue optimization strategies
Provide leadership and guidance to the offering management team
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance
MUST HAVE
Minimum of 10 years of experience in offering management or related roles
TS/SCI Clearance or the ability to obtain
Proven track record of successfully developing and launching offerings
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
US Citizenship
Work out of the Clearwater Fl. Space Facility
