One Visionis seeking to hireaPart Time - Direct Support Professional - Remote Support Professional - Day shift (8am - 4pm) on Tuesdays and every other weekend)-Our Remote Support Professionals support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Tech- Enabled Service homes from a remote workstation in Clear Lake, Iowa(Not a work from home remote position.)

Job description:
- Remotely supportsindividuals and provides support in areas related to health, medication, safety, and daily living.
- Appropriately responds to and manages stressful situationsremotely.
- Empowers persons supported to make independent decisions and assist in emergency situations.
- Responds to emergency requests fromindividuals and as needed escalates to On-Call Supervisor.
- Interacts with the people supported with high attention to engagement.
- Remotely support persons supported, who are wearing wearable devices, when individual is away from home, as needed.
Job requirements:
- Highschool Diploma/GED required.

``` - Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance.

``` - Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.

``` - Proficient knowledge oftechnology and possesses ability to navigate multiple technology platforms. - Preferred one to two years of related experience and/or training; to include the areas of smart technology and training/coaching others. - Knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including Communications. - Professional written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to identify and understand the sense of urgency of individuals supported and document solutions within software platforms. - Preferredprevious experience as a job coach or direct support professional. - Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, physical assessment to occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
This is a safety sensitive role.
Location:This is an onsite position at various homes within our Clear Lake region.
