Actalent Manufacturing Engineer in Clayton, North Carolina

Description:

Seeking a Manufacturing engineer to support process setup and documentation of processes/work instructions for SAP.

Main job duties consists of:

  • Engage Production Floor - follow-up on Daily CI-Cards, currently 60+ in circulation. Robust Continuous Improvement Team in place, we just need to BOOST response time.

  • Daily Floor walks - several times per day, "show face", be available for on-the-floor Engineering Support.

  • Looking for go getters, Engineers & Planners (front line - Technical writing, BOM's, routings, time studies, SAP ERP knowledge to SHARE with the Manufacturing Team.

  • We serve as Interface liaisons to the design team implementing Engineer Change Notices.

Resolve Factory on current product machines built in Clayton, NC. Must be on-site to support investigation, development and validation work. Investigate field and factory failures and determine root cause. Determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Communicate all project parameters to the broader cross-functional teams. Manage project documentation in all DMAIC phases. Oversee installation and validation of design improvements at the local Clayton site.
