JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:

  4. Fun -- Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
  5. Interact with all guests and team members to positively affect interactions with guests and team members, and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions.  Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members. 

Assume overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated table.

Maintain constant awareness of activities of assigned table in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity.

Control and direct game in progress by dealing according to department procedures and maintaining game protection.

Communicate any pertinent information to the pit manager, floor supervisor, or other necessary team members regarding player information, title 31 information, suspicious activity, possible intoxicated guests, or any other information that is important to the operation of the casino.

Assure high standards of guest service on assigned game.

Utilize and is receptive to on-the-job training for receiving adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance.

Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.

Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone.

Ability to observe and give appropriate feedback on the actions of guests.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members.

Ability to move effectively and efficiently around the table area (walking the game) so as to be able to observe all areas of the table. 

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke filled casino environment with above average noise levels.

Availability to work 24-hours hours a day, 7 days a week, varied work schedules and holidays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Technical school education in dealing specified game

Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to deal required games. 

Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures of games dealt, as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various player irregularities.

Completion of a wide variety of specific games training programs with resulting proficiency in several pit games.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Gaming license

Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.

Must complete all required company training.
