ManTech Deputy Program Manager in Clarksburg, West Virginia

Currently ManTech is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team in the Clarksburg, WV/ National Capital Region area to provide support to our Army customer for sustainment and engineering work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with customer, technical leads, and technical program staff to meet contract and program staffing and performance needs.

  • Be responsible for contract management, mission support, operations, sustainment and engineering work

  • Managing/reporting schedule, cost, and quality.

  • Supporting QA and monitoring operations/risks, responsiveness

  • Task planning, preparation, execution, and establishing baseline/metrics. Strategic planning.

  • Act as the resource manager for a technical staff of more than 100 employees (both ManTech employees and subcontractors).

  • Provide direct performance management and oversight of program technical staff, to include coaching and employee development and regular reviews.

  • Provide oversight and approval of employee time reporting, charging, and ensure compliance with ManTech time reporting policies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (experience substitution only if permitted by program) in Management/IT/Engineering discipline.

  • Knowledge of Major Command, Combatant Command, Joint Urgent Operational Needs and Urgent Operation Needs organization and acquisition process.

  • Manage both Cost Plus and FFP contracts.

  • Experience in leading engineering and analysis, sustainment and cloud support programs.

  • Must possess a PMP Certification (or program-specified equivalent).

  • At least seven years of relevant experience in program or project management.

  • At least seven years of relevant experience in system/software maintenance and engineering.

  • Experience in personnel management across multiple functional areas.

  • Technical Certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cloud+, SEC+, CISSP, etc.) are preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess an active Top-Secret level Clearance, SCI eligible preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work.
