DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will serve as an important member of the team that is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating therapeutic programs and leisure activities for our consumers. You will assess consumers' psychosocial strengths and needs, formulate recommendations for treatment, and record as well as present information to the multi-disciplinary treatment team. You will offer both on and off campus group activities, monitor and document consumer progress on a monthly basis, and assess their needs by utilizing an initial and annual activities assessment tool.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating weekends and holidays as assigned. Work hours and days of work may change based on operational need. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree with major coursework in therapeutic recreation; physical education; vocational rehabilitation; vocational education or counseling; art, music, dance, or occupational therapies; or a related human services field; or Four years of experience providing therapeutic activities for individuals with physical, medical, or cognitive disabilities; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
