What You Will Do:

As an integral leader in our CoE organization, the candidate will be leading the product information management function for specific division(s), signature(s), and categories of product master data. This candidate will additionally serve as a champion for the CoE, providing their perspective, expertise, and guidance in the execution of the roadmap and vision.

  • Responsible for the leadership, development, and management of a team of product master data managers and analysts

  • Manage catalogs or other master data efforts as needed

  • Lead and deploy master data projects including those related to data quality, process harmonization, global norms and standards, and efficiencies

  • Serve as the point person for the product portfolio to stakeholders

  • Lead the team in the ability to work cross-functionally with departments and business partners including marketing, transportation, brand management, finance, packaging, and IT

  • Lead and/or support data projects related to new organizational acquisitions including data integration support and overall brand onboarding

  • Champion the transition from divisional data management silos to a harmonized CoE by providing best-practice expertise, process harmonization opportunities, workflow efficiencies, and change management

  • Knowledge of the L’Oreal data ecosystem is strongly desired, with expertise in SAP and L’Oreal MDM tools such as Elixpedia and DPM/Cosmo

    What We Are Looking For:

  • Understands the importance of master data and communicates its importance to team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership

  • Influence teams regarding quality master data management across the business

  • Guide processes by applying fundamental good data management practices (GS1 and L’Oreal norms)

  • Assess business needs quickly and engage business, IT and supply chain partners

  • Develops others by sharing best practices, expertise, and knowledge

  • Manages complexity and meets deadlines without sacrificing data quality or integrity

  • Leads by example

  • Ability to multi-task and meet challenging timelines

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, or related field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business experience

  • 2-3 years team leadership experience required

  • Strong knowledge of the supply chain process end-to-end

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with a focus on Excel

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
