Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I located in CLARION, Iowa. This role is within the telecom industry and involves providing support and maintaining the accessibility of technology with current hardware and software. The successful candidate will be required to troubleshoot various systems, provide orientation and training to users, monitor technology access, and maintain inventory of technology resources.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.

• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network operating system.

• Familiarizing oneself with all hardware, software, and network operating systems.

• Providing orientation to new users of existing technology and training staff on potential uses.

• Maintaining a current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources.

• Monitoring and maintaining technology to ensure maximum access.

• Providing network access to all staff and handling the installation of workstations.

• Loading all required software and managing network accounts and passwords as directed.

• Monitoring security factors as determined and advising of any security breaches or changes in password or security status.

• Identifying and preparing hardware for disposal when appropriate, and ensuring hardware is stripped and secured before disposal.

• Using skills such as Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, Tier 1 Support, Basic Network Troubleshooting, Basic Troubleshooting, and Hardware Troubleshooting. Requirements • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Active Directory is essential.

• Must have knowledge of Computer Hardware.

• Experience in Deskside Support is required.

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware is crucial.

• Must have experience providing Tier 1 Support.

• Basic Network Troubleshooting skills are required.

• Ability to perform Basic Troubleshooting is essential.

• Proficient in Hardware Troubleshooting.

• Must have Network Troubleshooting skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must have a proactive approach to identify and solve problems.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
