Job Description

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, lighting, and electrical panels, in accordance with local codes and safety regulations.

  • Install and repair electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, and circuit breakers.

  • Ensure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems to meet safety standards.

  • Identify and diagnose electrical issues in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

  • Perform repairs or replacements of faulty wiring, outlets, and electrical components.

  • Test systems and circuits for continuity, voltage, and amperage to ensure proper functioning.

  • Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes during installations and repairs.

  • Ensure that all electrical work meets safety regulations and pass inspections when required.

  • Work with project managers, engineers, or clients to understand electrical requirements and plan projects.

  • Manage time and resources effectively to complete projects on schedule.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and job completion.

Pay

$58,240-$80,000+ per year, as electricians will be working on both straight-time and prevailing wage projects. This position is a direct placement

Work Environment

The typical work environment includes working on rooftops, ladders, and in various weather conditions. Safety is a major concern, with proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) required. The role involves both independent work and collaboration with a team. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work.
