POSITION TITLE:
School Psychology Facilitator Paraeducator / Special Education Department Floating Paraeducator (Temporary Position)
ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE: Clare-Gladwin RESD at various sites within the RESD LOCATION: Various REPORTS TO: Special Education Supervisor or Assistant Superintendent of Special Education WAGES: * According to MEA Contract *STARTING DATE: * August 2024 *JOB OBJECTIVE: The School Psychology Facilitator will serve as a member of the educational team and will facilitate communication between the virtual School Psychologist and school personnel. Will assist the virtual School Psychologist by providing in person support services and coordination of evaluation times with virtual School Psychologist and school personnel. QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency required; two years college preferred.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Work experience with individuals with developmental, emotional, cognitive and physical impairments preferred.
- Ability to understand and work with children of all ages.
- Must be familiar with the terminology and provisions of the American Disabilities Act (ADA) as amended.
