Reference #: 271\ Overview\ We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Trainer II/Sr position out of our Jefferson Hills, PA, training center.*  This role develops and delivers technical and compliance training programs based on company and industry standards, utilizing proven methodologies for various business units.\ *flex work arrangements will be considered.  Travel to field locations is required in this role.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:\ Manage Learning Management System (LMS) to track employee training history and new employee tracking\ Instructs employees and contractors on theory, how to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot  various natural gas pipeline and compression station facilities\ Provides technical training for all Operator Qualified covered tasks to ensure compliance with applicable State, Federal DOT and PHMSA rules associated with operating company assets\ Work closely with management to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal DOT and OSHA rules related to Operator Qualification requirements and procedure adherence.\ Assist Engineering and other technical positions in the development of O&M and corporate standards and the subsequent related work procedures\ Conduct field inspections to evaluate employee/contractor knowledge, skills and performance in a quality assurance role to ensure safe and efficient operations and compliance with company and/or regulatory standards\ Identify and implement corrective actions to avoid potential accidents and procedural violations\ Schedule and conducts technical, and DOT required operator qualification training programs; course development includes training aids, lab exercises, and exams\ Assist management in determining and implementing \"Best Management Practices\" for operational tasks, safety and environmental work practices and procedures\ Conduct welding qualifications and re-qualifications as required

More specifically related to this position, Equitrans Midstream Corporation seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\ High School Diploma or GED\ 2+ years of technical trainer experience is needed for the Technical Trainer II position.  Our Sr Technical Trainers have at least 5 years of progressive technical training experience.\ Experience in the natural gas field or relevant technical industry is preferred\ Ability to monitor and schedule required compliance and specialty training, as needed\ Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel\ Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities\ Strong verbal communication skills and ability to present theory and concepts, as well as hands-on technical instruction, with clarity, confidence and enthusiasm\ Ability to travel in operating area (PA, OH, WV) up to 25% of the time\ The anticipated salary range for this position is \$30.29/hr to \$41.63/hr plus a total rewards package that includes:\ Medical, dental, and vision insurance\ Life and disability insurance\ Retirement and savings plans\ Short-term incentive plan\ Paid time off\ Flexible 9/80 work schedule\ Overall compensation may vary.
