Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Machinists for projects located in Clairton, PA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Install, adjust, and align three chucks, tools, and attachments for optimal machine operation
Input instructions, including zero reference points, and make adjustments to CNC programs as needed to ensure accurate machining
Take inventory of materials and tools to determine availability and prepare stock for production
Operate CNC lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, grooving, and other machining operations with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
Verify settings and measure positions using precision tools to ensure conformance to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and requirements
Follow safety protocols and perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation and longevity
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a CNC machinist, particularly with CNC lathes
Strong knowledge of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machining techniques
Ability to work with high precision and maintain tight tolerances
Ability to lift and position heavy stock for machine setup
Reliable transportation and attendance
Valid Driver's License
