Alpenrose Dairy Regional Sales Executive in Clackamas, Oregon

Summary: Driven to grow, Alpenrose is seeking experienced, entrepreneurial sales candidates skilled in developing strategy, field marketing, and converting sales. Regional Sales Executives grow our customer base through direct sales to consumers by networking, generating leads, promoting, and selling our service at local and regional events. This outside sales role requires a creative mindset and the tenacity to experiment in the pursuit of success. Based in Clackamas, Oregon, Alpenrose is the Northwest’s premier grocery home delivery service serving Portland and Vancouver. Customers count on our milkmen and women to fill their porch boxes every week. We offer a modern, technology-supported delivery service with a nostalgic nod to simpler times. Our growing catalog features farm fresh dairy, locally sourced, organic, seasonal favorites, and familiar staples. Sales executives receive base pay, uncapped commission, and bonus incentives. The 5-day work schedule varies week to week. Most often, it is Wednesday through Sunday to take advantage of the best weekend events. Daytime hours shift when needed for afternoon/evening events. Monday and Tuesday are typical “weekend” days. Responsibilities • Identify and engage prospects, recommend service, and assist them in signing up for delivery. • Identify community groups aligned with target demographic. Manage relationships, engage key stakeholders, and develop strategies to convert customers. • Generate brand awareness and positive impressions to increase sales. • Represent company at assigned activities and events. Set up, break down table, tent, and display materials. • Educate customers in our milkman delivery service, grocery selections, and family-owned company. • Meet quota performance goals. • Record contact management activity and maintain complete and accurate data in sales software. • Maintain clean and neat appearance at all times. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of our service and products. • Maintain vehicle and equipment in event-ready condition. Drive safely and courteously. Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics. Qualifications • Experience in consumer B2C sales, consultative sales, direct sales, event marketing, or brand promotion. • High school diploma or equivalent required. College graduates and veterans encouraged to apply. • CRM software experience preferred. General Microsoft Office skills. • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Physical Requirements: • Frequently lift 25 pounds. Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
