Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer for a 2-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Xilinx, design, and debugging. You will assist a engineer with reverse engineering and updating an existing Xilinx design. This position involves working on various video processing and image rendering tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineer with reverse engineering and updating an existing Xilinx design.

  • Bypass image processing elements in a video switch.

  • Take video measurements using a video monitor.

  • Convert DSP top level module to SystemVerilog.

  • Simulate image processing modules.

  • Display simulated images in YUV format.

  • Determine image resolution and pixel format at various stages in the image processing pipeline.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in Xilinx design and debugging.

  • Proficiency in Verilog and VHDL.

  • Experience with SystemVerilog.

  • Strong understanding of video processing and image rendering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • ITAR qualification.

Work Environment

This is a contract position for 2 months, requiring collaboration with a engineer with minimum 10+ years of experience. The work involves using advanced technologies for video processing and image rendering. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.15 - $72.11/hr.
