Manufacturing Engineer (Entry level)

Essential Job Functions

  1. Provides support in the development and implementation of semi-complex performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

  2. Participates in conducting semi-complex inspections and investigations by collecting data related to proper utilization of company labor and equipment.

  3. Participate in manufacturing concepts such as Siemens Production System and Star Power.

  4. Participate in Integrated Management System Program (ISO 9000, OHSAS-18000 and ISO 14000).

  5. Perform important areas of standard professional level work that generally require processing and interpretation, more complex and less clearly defined problems.

  6. Continuous improvement teamwork (actively participates).

  7. Meets company objectives (KPI's): 5s + Safety and their compliance.

  8. Participates in programs such as 5s, Kaizen and 3i.

Summary of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)

  • Industrial Engineer

  • At least 1 year of experience in the position

  • Strong communication skills

  • Analytical skills, very good judgement, decision making, negotiation, persuasion, people orientation.

  • High level of motivation and problem solving

  • Microsoft knowledge

  • Ability to write documents

  • Discipline and proactive

  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Critical thinking, innovative, creative
