Job Summary
Develop projects of Automation, data collection and OT networks to CPS Mexico (Concentrate plant, AdeS and JDV).
Assurance maintenance services to PLC, switches, servers, communication lines and any other control, automation or data collection device.
Develop an review programming software
Key Duties/Responsibilities :
Lead and develop CAPEX and OPEX Automation projects.
Deep understanding of the automation systems and be able to provide 2nd level support for different systems
Be the owner of the OT network onsite. Knowledge and skills to work with site IT team to ensure the site OT infrastructure is fit for purpose
Understanding of how products are being manufactured in different work centers, and how automation systems played a part to ensure safety, quality and productivity in the processes
Lead and execute automation projects to ensure scope, budget and timeline are met
The activities include
Knowledge and skills to ensure production equipment machinery and instruments function are reliable and fit to use.
Documentation of resolution and provide training to technicians
Keep track of automation life cycle status and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to schedule replacement whenever is required.
Knowledge and skills to identify automation improvement opportunities and propose solutions with proper business justification
Program PLC's, HMI, and safety relays (Allen Bradley).
Assurance maintenance services to PLC, switches, servers, communication lines and any other control, automation or data collection device.
Troubleshooting servers, OT networks, switches, PLC's, sensors, robots and safety devices.
Troubleshooting information on MES in issues accord download recipes, upload recipes, create PO´s, etc
Programming Ignition software especially perspective and SQL bridge module
Setup and configure Kepware manufacturing suite software and OPC communications
Programming Microsoft SQL database
Setup and configure switches stratix and cisco through console input
Setup and configure IO link technology
Review DTI´s and be able to select the correct flow, pressure, level, and other instrumentation
Select the correct weight system
Data mapping instruments such as cameras, scales, checkweigher, torquemeters and fillers
Supervise contract services, ensuring the quality compliance and taking care of the company information.
Authority:
If you see any deviations that affect quality, safety, or the environment, provide constructive feedback or make necessary adjustments to the process. If the product is affected, segregate it. If the deviation is critical, stop the activity and notify your direct supervisor, PQA, safety leader, or sustainability leader.
Recognize and report any suspicious behavior or actions by internal or external personnel in your process area that could affect operations, quality, safety, or the environment

Experience of 1 to 5 years in automation, control process programing and data server set up.
