Serve as the People Business Partner for multiple countries within Asia; partnering with business leaders to develop and align people strategies and objectives that support business goals and deliver results. Oversee the implementation and delivery of global initiatives at the country level.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate and cascade business requirements into actionable people strategies and priorities. Implement and customize global initiatives for various countries, drive leadership development initiatives to enhance capabilities, and lead organizational change efforts to support transformation projects. Champion employee engagement and change management activities.

  • Provide insightful guidance and dedicated coaching to business leaders on matters concerning people and employee relations. Utilize HR expertise, skills, and industry best practices to conduct thorough assessments of organizational effectiveness and structure, thereby enhancing performance optimization.

  • Effectively address and manage employee and company-related issues in full compliance with local labor laws, legal regulations, and the company's code of ethics. Provide expert guidance to business leaders, ensuring swift implementation of corrective actions in relation to employee relations, social relationships, people issues, disciplinary and grievance handling, and local litigation matters.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COE) to identify continuous improvement opportunities for programs and policies tailored to local requirements.

  • Offer strategic advice on workforce planning, workforce analytics, and organizational effectiveness practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering sustained growth and excellence.

  • Establish a close collaboration with business leaders and Finance Business Partners to effectively translate organizational needs into actionable country-specific Human Capital (HC) requirements and personnel costs. Provide robust support for HR budget planning and submission, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and financial targets.

  • Strategize, coordinate, and spearhead HR Projects, overseeing every stage from planning to execution to ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Assume leadership in these initiatives to drive impactful change, cultivate innovation, and propel the organization towards its strategic objectives.

  • Partner with business leaders as a catalyst for organizational change, actively advocating, advancing, and spearheading transformative initiatives.

  • Execute our Global challenger mindset culture at local level to foster a thriving organizational culture infused with diversity, equity and inclusion at every level

  • Play a vital role in executing the local talent acquisition strategy by actively addressing the talent needs and capability gaps within GBU/GF.

  • Lead and drive performance management and compensation cycle for the business.

  • Coach and support business leaders accordingly to advance individual performance and to ensure alignment with global process guidelines.

  • Support and advise business leaders in C&B decisions to attract, engage and retain employees, ensuring affordability and compliance with global policies and local legal regulations. Possess knowledge of market benchmark and practices.

  • Track and analyse KPIs and provide feedback to the Country HR Head to ensure efficiency and alignment across GBUs/GFs.

  • Drive the talent management process by guiding and assisting Business Leaders in talent recognition, strategizing, and growth. Foster talent sharing across various divisions.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to create impactful and inclusive succession plans for critical roles, aiming to retain and nurture talents effectively.

  • Work with business leaders to identify individual and group learning and development requirements, and craft appropriate solutions that bridge talent gaps with learning initiatives.

JOB-HOLDER REQUIREMENTS:

Experience & knowledge :

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with at least 10 years of cross-cultural human resource experience

  • Substantial senior experience in business partnering in an international environment including C&B, Talent Management and HR transformation project and performance analytics.

  • Experience in planning and executing global projects of varying size and complexity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English

  • Solid understanding of local employment law and compliance policies with ability to advise on complex employee relations matter.

  • Self-starter and result driven attitude;

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and change management ability

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and digital applications.
