Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as an Officer, Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Office - C11) based in Taguig (Philippines). The Finance Accounting Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub-function/job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Identify, investigate and ensure resolution of material intercompany breakages

• Supports the manage and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data.

• Review and examine key controls for accounting process within the process handled.

• Assists in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products.

• Take responsibility for the accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations on Citi reporting tools.

• Identify and appropriately highlight / escalate potential issues relating to account with stakeholders such as Regional Balance Sheet control group / Country controllers / Global process lead (GPL) and Global process owner (GPO) and work with them for resolution.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience

• CPA is an advantage
