Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Data Quality Analyst I - Hybrid based in Taguig. The Data Quality Analyst will be part of Data Management team under Finance COO organization supporting Citi’s proprietary Full Suite and GENESIS systems. The analyst will work closely with other teams across Finance, Risk, Technology and FRSS organizations.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Perform daily trend analysis of Operational Matching exception report

Review Operational Matching exceptions (SGL orphans) and investigate root cause of new exceptions

Identify both tactical and strategic remediation to resolve Operational Matching exceptions (SGL orphans)

Execute tactical data remediation of data quality issues in Full Suite in adherence to existing governance and controls framework

Identify appropriate strategic remediation of data quality issues

Perform end-to-end requirements management and end-to-end testing of Full Suite change requests as it relates to strategic remediation of data quality issues

Raise DCID through DCRM (Data Concern Remediation Management) portal for issues identified

Manage and address data quality queries/issues on Full Suite-Genesis production data through proper acknowledgement and timely feedback to data users

Conduct second-level investigation on medium to complex data quality queries/issues on Full Suite-Genesis production data and propose resolution path (both tactical and strategic)

Escalate timely to appropriate resolver groups, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Self-starter, quick learner, customer-focused with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently in a fast paced changing environment

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity with good track record in establishing partnership and team work

Excellent written and oral communication, influencing and presentation skills – must be able to present and influence across organization level and functions

High proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
