Newegg Inc. Technical Support Specialist, ABS in City of Industry, California

  • Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, document and resolve all customer desktop hardware and software technical issues * Completes test activities with robust documentation through standardized validation plans and verification results * Ensure all products and software comply with government standards through formal verification methods * Recommend hardware and software improvements to lower RMA rates * Knowledge of coding and/or scripting to all software are up to date * Create and provide training materials/procedures for RMA repairs * Other duties as assigned * Combination of 2 years of education, training, and experience in a professional, business or equivalent technical field * Experience with PC assembly in the context of an assembly line operation is required * Experience dealing with customer issue and provide solutions is required * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) * Must be a self-directed, fast learner who is effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment * Strong attention to detail and quality of work * Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required * Proven analytical and conceptual skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
