Job Title: Furnace Operator - 3rd Shift (Weekends)

Job Description

We are seeking a Furnace Operator for our facility located in Cincinnati, OH (Price Hill Area) with an impending move to Fairfield. This role is for the 3rd shift, operating from Friday to Sunday, working 36 hours but compensated for 40 hours if all three days are worked. The shift hours are from 5:30pm to 5:30am.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor large furnace operations.

• Fill out and read work orders.

• Load and unload the furnace.

• Load and unload bins, fixtures, and baskets.

• Report any unusual problems to the manager.

• Potentially drive a forklift.

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail.

• Willingness to work in a hot environment (not temperature controlled).

• Possession of steel toe boots.

• Willingness to work in Fairfield in the future.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with furnace operations (at least 6 months).

• Forklift experience.

• Machine operating experience (no button pushers).

• Job pack experience.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
