About the team: Focused on infrastructure as code, we are responsible for delivering intent based networking solutions for automated business, engineering, and monitoring products as part of the wider end to end IaaS framework across the private and public cloud environments. What you will be doing: You would be working with a company where you will be managing and maintaining Linux servers and containers at scale and working on assisting with the development and architecture of automation platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform and working with RedHat tools. If you are someone who has a strong understanding of Linux and experience with architecting, implementing, and deploying Linux and AAP or Ansible Tower platforms and similar systems all while looking for the chance to learn and grow in your career development, this could be the place for you! You will define, construct, support, and provide training for systems and platforms used by network engineering and network automation teams. You will be a team player within the network tooling team providing guidance and coding knowledge to other members. You will review acceptance criteria to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements in version control platforms. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to add features and updates to the systems and platforms we maintain as requested. Assisting in systems troubleshooting and issue resolution as required. Participating in on-going training opportunities for skills enhancement. Other related duties assigned as needed. What you bring: In depth knowledge of both Debian and RedHat based Linux operating systems. In depth knowledge of Git, Python, Ansible and/or terraform. In depth knowledge of automation frameworks - including but not limited to automated testing, orchestration workflows, schema modification and coding. Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-code principles Strong knowledge of web protocols and a good knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture Advanced Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD (automated testing, version control) Analysis, design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation of new and existing software modules or features In depth knowledge and experience of Service Now workflow and catalogue item development Knowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, VPN, SDWAN with (preferably) a product engineering background Knowledge of deployment methodologies for multi-tier applications Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture Knowledge of data network architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources.
