About The Team Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team provides WorldPay Big Data capabilities including large scale data processing, analytics, fraud platforms, machine learning engineering, stream processing and data insights. Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team help maintain and advance cloud data platforms and services to build data products powering our business services and customers. What You'll Own Design and oversee the development and implementation of the strategic roadmap for BI platforms and systems. Continually assess the BI landscape, identifying opportunities for improvements or new tools, with the existing tools being IBI WebFOCUS, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements and ensure the BI strategy aligns with these needs. Lead the BI Platform team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Establish and enforce technical standards and data management policies to ensure data integrity and security. Drive the adoption of BI tools and systems through training, support, and leadership. Monitor the performance of the BI systems, ensuring they perform as expected, and carry out troubleshooting and upgrades as needed. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BI technology, leveraging this knowledge to inform the BI strategic roadmap. Advocate for a data-driven culture within the organization, championing the use of BI tools and systems to drive decision-making. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Mastery of Business Intelligence concepts with the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience with BI tools such as IBI WebFOCUS, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot. Specific experience in managing the integration of BI tools with key data sources, particularly Snowflake. Proven experience in business data modeling, metadata structure, and understanding of key business processes. Expertise in SQL and experience with Big Data technologies and Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
