The focus of this position is driving the utility coordination of new Macro cells, as well as supporting embedded base upgrades and optimizations. You have a keen eye for detail but never lose sight of the big picture. Being results-driven and well-organized, you are adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies. Tracking milestones and coordinating across disciplines on missing, upcoming, and past-due tasks. Perform feasibility exercises to determine the correct equipment & placement equip orders. Coordinate the installation of all equipment within assigned market. Partner and coordinate general contractor services, and reviewing closeout packages. Provide engineering level support during equipment installation by determining needs and capabilities. These responsibilities include: verifying power and floor space requirements, power facilities, ground stability, and construction access. Coordinate with Sub-Market Engineering groups to determine RF needs as well as various structural and environmental issues. Collaborate with MTCE and Area Teams to ensure compliance with VZ Standards. Review and provide feedback on construction drawings for each site utilizing AutoCAD and Visio software. Award bids through vendor selection based on several criteria such as expense, quality, and estimated completion time. Ensure efficient budget usage by reviewing construction schedule and providing process improvement. What we're looking for... You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, making effective decisions quickly, and juggling opposing priorities with ease. You'll need to have: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Three or more years of relevant work experience. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time Even better if you have one or more of the following: Experience with Risk Assessment and Management Experience with Change Order Management Strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of Procurement and Logistics. Experience with Peoplesoft, Siterra, SiteTraker, xPress Bid, AutoCAD/Visio Knowledge of MS Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint Experience with Smartsheet Development Knowledge of RF Cabling, Antenna Mounting and Modifications, fiber installation and standards, and A&E Concepts.
