Job Description Hybrid in Cincinnati, OH. Our retail client is looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join their team. We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. Pay Rate: $70.00 - $80.00/hr on W2 Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range. W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality. Responsibilities of the Senior Android Software Engineer: Lead for the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of the product Work with backend engineers to build and ship features Design a framework for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the company Monitor app performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems & rectify the issues Review app and feature code, and plan future app upgrades with the development team Assist in the development of features that will be put on the mobile app & in internal applications Implement responsible design principles to ensure that our app renders well on most devices and is accessible Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies Requirements of the Senior Android Software Engineer: Demonstrated technical leadership experience Strong experience using Kotlin Experience with modern Android libraries and tooling Strong analytical problem-solving skills Understanding of the entire mobile development process (design, development, testing and releases) Detail oriented, works well in a team and individually Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines Please be advised- If anyone reaches out to you about an open position connected with Eliassen Group, please confirm that they have an Eliassen.com email address and never provide personal or financial information to anyone who is not clearly associated with Eliassen Group.
