Ohio Valley Goodwill Scheduling Coordinator (Job Coaching) in CINCINNATI, Ohio

We have a Scheduling Coordinator opportunity available for a creative, motivated, and enthusiastic problem solver who can envision approaching creating schedules as a giant puzzle. Due to the nature of work in our Job Coaching Department schedules are created by hand and can require frequent tweaks to schedules throughout the week. Additionally, this role would also be responsible for acting as a backup Job Coach in the event of employee absences, vacations, and other needs. This individual will work a 5-day work week, full-time, and on Saturdays. Must be available to work on Saturdays. This position offers the opportunity to work behind the scenes to support a great Coaching team that supports individuals with disabilities at their jobs. Required Skills & Qualifications: *Education: * Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Services or related area preferred, or High School Diploma/GED required *Experience: * Six months experience working with individuals with disabilities in a vocational setting preferred. Six months working/involved with the creation of schedules preferred. *Knowledge: * Basic knowledge of behavior modification techniques preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word. Must be able to work weekends & evenings Must have dependable transportation Must be able to understand and effectively communicate the English language Must have great customer service skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Create work schedule for each job coach weekly. Taking into consideration listed vacations, requests off, etc.
- Respond to, communicate with and update job coaches relating to any changes to their schedule throughout the week.
- Communicate with and update the Community Supports Supervisor and Supported Employment Manager related to scheduling issues and needs.
- Prepare, update and edit scheduling files daily/weekly.
- Maintain ongoing communication with designated team members regarding clients and services.
- Develops, modifies and implements service plans for assigned clients.
- Prepares monthly progress reports, discharges and other relevant client-related documents.
- Tracking all services provided by the dept for billing purposes.
- Entering completed services into billing database.
- Maintains and safeguards records in accordance with privacy policies.
- Observe and prepare job/task analyses.
- Other duties as assigned in relation to job coaching or scheduling.
