Description: Position Summary: The Sales Analysts is a subject matter expert surrounding shopper card, syndicated and panel data for the National Sales Team & Divisions. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to building & maintaining a robust set of scorecards, providing actionable Sales, consumer, and shopper insights to the Sales Team; Identifying & Communicating Key Strengths & Weaknesses, drilling down into the data to provide a clear & concise perspective of key drivers Effective performance requires expert knowledge of 84.51, Market6, syndicated data sources such as Circana/Nielsen & Spectra. The Sales Analyst is a key member of BBU's National Customer Team and MUST proactively help us understand how to drive Insights to Action. Key Job Responsibilities: *Proactively analyze sales initiatives to drive optimization of product assortment, product placement, incremental merchandising, and pricing and promotional strategies to improve overall category and BBU performance. *On-Going Post-Analysis *Provide analytics and insights to support annual sales planning, internal business reviews, and Customer business plans. *Develop fact-based selling stories leveraging syndicated data sources and all available selling materials. Specifically for weekly customer meetings. *Regular Scorecarding of the business that proactively tells a story, identifies what's working and what's not and reviews with Team to create an action plan. *Other duties as assigned. #LI-JC1 Position Requirements: Key Behavioral Competencies: Strong Individual Contributor with the ability to lead projects and collaborate with team to achieve objectives. Works independently under limited supervision. Ability to achieve specific objectives/outcomes and set/meet key initiatives. Ability to effectively implement programs for area of responsibility. Ability to collaborate and align cross-functionally within team and with customer(s) Education and Work History: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted for education. 1-3 Years required experience in CPG Industry, Customer Relations, Sales or Analytics. DSD experience. 3+ years is a plus. Customer Specific Data and Tools Experience preferred. High proficiency pulling and leveraging syndicated data resources such as IRI, Nielsen, and Spectra Excellent Skills in interpreting & analyzing data and building a story. Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills. Strong computer and solid technical background. Proficient in Power BI, able to Build within DataBase. Must have strong Project Management acumen. Demonstrated process driven mindset, excellent organizational and planning skills. Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required. Minimal travel.
