In Cincinnati, we have a USDA-approved and FDA-registered facility with significant expansion plans. The facility manufactures products used in cardiac surgery, dialysis procedures, blood transfusions, medical device implantation, and many other applications. As a member of the Quality Control team, the position is one of determining pharmaceutical product quality and integrity in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) following 21 CFR Part 210/211 and ICH Q7. Core Responsibilities Enhances cGMP compliance and assists in preparation of standard operating procedures. Collects samples for analysis. Performs detailed laboratory analyses complying with standard operating procedures. Conduct product testing using standard wet chemistry practices and analytical equipment (e.g. HPLC, GC, ICP, FTIR, UV/Vis, PCR) Enhances safety and good laboratory practices and safeguards the Company\'s proprietary information. Accurately records all results of laboratory procedures performed in company laboratory notebooks. Assists in preparation of new and amended operating procedures. Receives raw materials and supplies and completes receiving reports, if necessary. Helps maintain the laboratory, equipment, glassware, and storage room in clean ready to use conditions. Qualifications Associate Degree in Science or related field from a regionally accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor\'s degree, preferred. Quality and/or lab experience is preferred. Able to read and follow written & verbal instructions. Ability to accurately record and interpret data testing results. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Demonstrates effective time management. Communicate and collaborate effectively within team and with members of other departments. Understand science-based principles, formulas and specifications. Mathematical skill (calculate ratios, fractions, percentages, conversions, decimals, etc.). Troubleshooting: Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Must have the ability to complete required applicable forms in English, which requires the ability to read and write in English. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
